Why not Admin Menu?
Admin Menu is an outstanding module that provides a slick menu to access all of Drupal's configuration sections. It's great for Drupal superusers. But it's a bit daunting for the less Drupal savvy. The goal of Whammy Bar is to design a menu for the non-superuser.

Is it done yet?
Nope! This is a very basic version that I think effectively shows what I'm trying to do, but is by no means feature complete.

Why doesn't Whammy Bar use a Drupal menu?
This might be something we do in the future, but for now, we want to ensure simplicity and curation at the module level.

Will there be a Drupal 6 version?
I have no plans, but welcome patches.

Feature Roadmap

Whammy Bar is by no means complete. Some ideas for future features:

• Better styling/visual design
• An alternative light version
• Custom menu items complete
• Cross-browser support/testing/degradation

I welcome patches to the module.

Instructions

The Whammy Bar module can be configured to appear to all users of one or more roles. By default, no roles are selected.

1. Enable the module
2. Go to the settings for the module and enable the roles you want to see the module
3. Save the settings and you are set.
