The project use the Europeana API to integrate content from the European digital library, http://europeana.eu into Drupal in two ways:
- searching Europeana inside Drupal
- import content as Europeana nodes
The Europeana node type is created by CCK, which is a requirement for this module. And in order to use the Europeana API you have to request for an API key here: http://pro.europeana.eu/web/guest/registration, and if you received it, please register it at Administer › Site configuration › Europeana API key setting page (admin/settings/europeana).
The module was developed during the Hachathon part of the Europeana Plenary, 2012, Leuven, Belgium (http://pro.europeana.eu/web/leuven-2012). You can access others' contributions at https://twitter.com/#!/search/%23hack4europe.
