Lightweight Instant File Transfer - LIFT

Lift is a module for Drupal 7 that allows users to send single one-time files securely to an email address. It acts as an alternative to FTP when FTP access is not allowed or is otherwise unavailable. A user can 'LIFT' a file and choose several recipients who will be sent an email with a download link. Each recipient has their own file instance created, and the file owner can control how long the file is available and how many downloads are allowed before the file expires.

LIFT was developed at New Mexico State University for Researchers who need to send files securely across the world on networks where FTP would be an unacceptable security risk.
