Keynav features the ability to have keyboard shortcuts in your Drupal pages
just like in your regular desktop apps. You can for example use Ctrl+S on a
form page to save the form. This module requires the Mousetrap library
available through: http://craig.is/killing/mice

See library restrictions for browser specific limitations. Not every browser supports overriding certain shortcuts (for example Ctrl+N)

Similar module:
keyboard_shortcut keycuts however does a bit more:
- allows you to define keyboard shortcuts as a string (see library http://craig.is/killing/mice)
- multiple shortcuts for one action
- besides js callbacks and gotos, also trigger elements (simulate click on button)
