This module implements stemming according to the Porter algorithm.
It will help the german community to offer better searching capabilities to there users.
Beside the rules for stemming the module uses a list of stop words as well as a list of exceptions. Starting with release 6.x-3 the new accompanying module stemmer_api
- offers a tool to edit these two lists
- can show results of stemming on the fly
- shows content of files as "README.txt" ...
