ShURLy Auto is an extension for ShURLy module.

ShURLy allow you to create your own short URL service.
ShURLy Auto will automatically create short URL on node creation or saving.

The sort url will be displayed on a block.

How to use this module

In this example we will create short URL for http://www.lullabot.com/ using http://lb.cm/

  1. Create a Short Url Server by installing ShURLy on lb.cm
  2. Install ShURLy Auto on www.lullabot.com
  3. Config ShURLy Auto set http://lb.cm, ShURLy API Key and which node type will be shorten
  4. Enable ShURLy Auto block
  5. Create or edit node. After Submit, you will see short URL in the block

Views

ShURLy Auto supports Views. You can generate report by using its fields: sid, nid, longurl, shorturl, uid, ip, created.
Since nid and uid recorded then you can make TABLE JOIN to users and node table
