Yandex Most Popular gets popular links statistics from Yandex.Metrics analytics service (by day, week and month - or any other time period supported by Yandex.Metrics). It then filters these links to get only the links to actual content (nodes, taxonomy terms, ...).

Integration
Module is integrated with Views - it provides several Views handlers:
- Field - get the views count for node
- Filter - filter the nodes to get only the most popular ones
- Sort - sort the nodes by views count
- Relationship - relationship with table with statistics
Module includes the default view that shows how to use these handlers.
API
You can also use the API function to get the statistics in your custom code:
yandex_most_popular_info($entity_type = 'all', $period = 'all', $storage = 'database', $count = 'all')
