Views Serialized Custom

Views comes with a built-in serialized field handler (DrupalviewsPluginviewsfieldSerialized), which is really great for database columns where data is serialized. However, this field handler plugin only allows limited options for rendering. It is difficult to implement custom rendering of the serialized field.

This module allows a user to use a custom twig template to render the serialized field after it is deserialized. This module will allow this functionality to be available in Drupal 8.0.x. There is an issue (#2636382: Allow Views' Serialized field handler to customize rendering using twig templates) to have this feature added to the core serialized views field handler in 8.1.x.

This module works by extending the built-in DrupalviewsPluginviewsfieldSerialized field handler and provides an option in Views UI to use custom twig template to render the serialized field after de-serialization.
