Jquery Upload FAPI

Jquery Upload Fapi is intended for Drupal backend developers who wish to utilize the Jquery File Upload plugin in custom forms. The module defines a custom form field widget using the hook_element_info. This field can be used in custom forms via code. This element will provide a visible field to upload the images and a hidden field to save the uploaded files fids. Files are uploaded and the corresponding fids retrieved using AJAX and placed in the hidden field. These fids can be retrieved from the widget (in a comma separated format) and handling of the fids can be done by the developer in a custom manner.

The module is dependent on Drupal module libraries. Make sure you have installed the Libraries. For this module you need to download Jquery multifile upload JS and CSSfiles to the libraries folder of your site. Download jquery multifile upload with version 9.11.2 from modules https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/tags. Extract it to jquery_multifile_upload folder in sites/all/libraries.
