Layout Library

A library of configurable layouts for Drupal 8.3+

Included Layouts:

• A configurable basic one column layout with a floating region.
• A configurable stacked one column layout with a floating region, a header, and a footer.
• A configurable two column layout with a header, a footer, and two floating regions.

Requirements

Layout Discovery module: Part of Drupal 8.3+ core.

How to use

You need a module/theme that consumes Drupal 8.3+ layouts, like the field layout module in Drupal 8.3+ core, or Display Suite 3+or panels 4+.
The layout library module is being tested with core's field_layout and any comments from the users of other modules are welcome..

Roadmap

The goal is to create an extensive library of layouts and make them available to all themes.

• Configurable three column layouts with three child floating regions

Upcoming changes:

• Improve the configuration UI
• Make layouts responsive (depending on the core breakpoint module)
• #2876283: Automatic Generation of responsive CSS templates

Stable release

A stable release will come after the Drupal's Layout API has been stabilized. Alpha & Beta versions will be released if requested by users. The Dev code is usable, but not stable.
