The purpose of the Page Import module is to assist the manual migration of single page content from a static site into Drupal nodes.
This is advantageous where there code quality is paramount that the html content going into a Drupal node needs to be inspected and edited before the node is saved.
This module leverages jQuery to dynamically replace, remove or unwrap html elements using simple jQuery/CSS selectors.
This module also automatically imports html from a provided url using Cross Site XMLHttpRequest, it utilises the YQL service to provide JSON.
Current Status
Cleaning up the code, the module is functional but inflexible and a little bit buggy, especially with error handling.
