This is a simple module that makes it possible to hide blocks from the main block list (/admin/build/blocks (D6) or /admin/structure/block (D7)). It does this by adding a tab to the local tasks menu on the blocks page, where site admins simpy can check the blocks they like to hide from view. This is practical for two reasons:

This module provides you with a number of really helpful links that show up in the pane edit links for each pane.

You can directly from each pane edit (in a new window) your

* blocks
* menus
* site information
* fields

It is very useful for views for example since it is sometimes very hard to know which view that pane contains.

Scans for and links to readme files.

Since Drupal 7 there has been an Interface on the module page to download and install modules. However if the module contains a readme file, you are forced to either head to the command line or an external site to read it.

This module aims to make this step a bit easier by linking to the readme file directly so you can read it on the same page you've enabled it.

The snippet module allows you to provide user (usually a site-admin) editable "text-areas" in panel pages without given users general panels admin access. Each snippet area is exportable, so it can be bundled in a feature along with panels. The text contained within the snippet (which the user can edit) is not exported.

What is Pubdate?

Pubdate was developed as a solution to a common problem facing publishers, how to publish the online version of a print magazine using a simple and robust admin interface.

This module hides contextual links, removing them entirely from the markup on a block by block basis by un-setting the #links element.

There are three setting for each block.

1. Visible: The module does nothing.
2. Hidden: Hides the contextual links from users who do not have the "Override hidden contextual links" permission. Useful for high-level administrators.
3. Hidden from All: Hides them from everyone, administrators included.

This module allows content types to be configured to add a menu link by default with an additional option for this menu link to be hidden by default. This is useful for managing site structure through menus without the content administrator having to manage menu placement.

This module also helps to solve the problem of having the correct item in a menu tree expanded without having to show the final node in the menu.
