This module can be used to compare the permissions between two different roles. This module can be really handy when you are facing permission related issues and you are not sure which particular permission string is leading to the unexpected behavior for a particular role.

Offline Notifier allows the administrator to schedule to display offline notifier
based on a pre-defined schedule. The Administrator have to feed publish and
un-publish dates and the Offline notifier will take care of
displaying notifier as per the given dates.
Dates can be entered in 'Y-m-d h:i:s' format.
Notes
Please check if Cron is running correctly if your notifier does not get displayed
as per your schedule.

Let's start by creating the basic folder structure and files for our module. A Drupal module needs to be placed in a specific directory in your Drupal installation and it needs to have some basic files so that it can be identified as a module by the Drupal system. The first thing we need to do is create a folder for our module called shownodes. That folder should be kept in the sitesallmodules folder of your Drupal installation. In this folder create two blank files called shownodes.info and shownodes.module.
