As of the 2.1 release, It requires Migrate 2.6 or later. The External Link Popularity module is an old module that used Javascript to track and tally users' clicks on external links within nodes via Voting API.

This sandbox project seeks to port this module to Drupal 7, add Views integration, update the code to comply with current Drupal techniques, and add flexibility. Right now, the module also tracks clicks on node fields when displayed in Views, and in the future, it can be expanded to track clicks on links within other (non-node) entities, if that seems useful.
