Content Construction Kit (CCK)

The geonames_cck module implements a CCK field type that uses geonames (http://www.geonames.org) to translate location names into their longitude and latitude coordinates.

This module was designed to work with the geomap (http://drupal.org/project/geomap) module. Locations are output using Geo microformats, and the geomap module will display any geo data on a google map.

We use the geonames web service module (http://drupal.org/project/geonames) to handle the actual communication with geonames.

6 feb 2009 - Geonames are currently not running their free web services. You will struggle to get this working without the commercial option. 

The Video Upload module provides a CCK field type that allows for the end user to upload video directly to YouTube, using a single account for the site.

You are encouraged to use the Media and Media:YouTube modules to replicate the functionality that this module has historically provided.

Limit access to content to a group of users. This is a lightweight, minimal alternative to Organic Groups.

Example Use:

Limit access to a Case Tracker project and its cases to selected individuals.

Defines a field type for referencing drupal paths.

There are already several entities related to paths (e.g. blocks and menu-items). This module allows to create relations between content and paths. It also contains filters for views.module to retrieve lists of nodes related to the current path (or any other path).

It can do things similar to modules like:

GMap Lat/Lon is a small glue module that provides Latitude and Longitude Views fields for nodes with gmap_cck fields. Among other things, this allows the gProximity module to display a map showing all nodes with gmap_cck fields. The Location module should also be able to do this but, at the time of writing, has no supported/usable releases.

Want to highlight text, clip a video, or select a section of an image? This module is CCK nodereference on steroids. Annotation Field references not just a node, but a specific revision, field, and intra-field information (like a portion of text).

AnnotationField, itself, is the framework for Annotator field modules to annotate specific field types. Included in this module are three sub-modules:

The aim of this project is to utilize jQuery gallery plugin to implement an image gallery built up from multiple CCK image field. Similar to imagecache module, you can create a number of presets each of which has various settings. CCK formatters are populated for every created preset. Nice thing about this module is that you only need to choose a desired preset/formatter for a multiple CCK image field and you will receive a complete jQuery gallery.

Imagefield Import allows users with the proper permissions to import a large number of images into a CCK content type which contains a filefield or an imagefield.

The module can grab titles and descriptions using EXIF or IPTC.

It is possible to set taxonomy term associations and CCK field values during the import.

In spite of the name, this module also supports normal file fields. You can use this to create a bunch of nodes with attached files.

The Field Indexer module indexes field data into Drupal's search index. Each field enabled for indexing becomes a type of index entry. Then, with an appropriate search module, users may perform keyword searches restricted by field.
