An alternative to a number of older token-based 'embedders'. Re-imagining the job they all have in common and seeing if a persistent, semantic, XHTML-valid syntax (instead of limited, made-up pseudo-tags) could be a way forward.
eg
<div e:element="node" e:display="teaser" e:nid="1"></div>
not
[embed:nid:1|layout=teaser]
Currently, it includes a wysywyg plugin for managing the embedded items, with a UI.
This module helps to create custom groups of views that want to be rendered in the same page and allow to create custom filters that could easy be mapped to views exposed filters.
A presentation of multiple views could be done using the views aggregation, but the main problem that inspired me to create this module is the need to create multiple filters that must be mapped to distinct types of filters.

The idea of the Static HTML Viewer module, is to bind a static HTML web site directly into Drupal.
This is not about importing a static HTML website into Drupal (this is already well documented). Instead, we are directly binding a website into Drupal.
This is very useful if you want to expose a set of HTML pages into your website without having to create a node for each page.
This is a simple module that enables site builders to use the built-in Overlay for non-admin pages.
This means that you can use the overlay for doing popups without adding yet more javascript libraries to your site.
This module provides a simple UI for defining paths to appear in the overlay, but developers can use it to define paths too, see the overlay_paths.api.php file in the module for details.
