Fields

The Field Embed module allows you to embed a field within another field. This is best used when you need to include complex field layering in a WYSIWYG, or if you have a special style to apply to fields if they're inside main WYSIWYG content.

The Reading Time module adds a field that can be added to any content type that contains a body field. The Reading Time field calculates the estimated reading time for the content contained in the node's body field and displays it. You have likely seen this functionality on sites like Medium.

This module provides a new format for the Link field type. This format presents the file as a fully rendered object within a web page - i.e. it displays the contents of the link as appropriate to its filetype (Adobe Acrobat .pdf, Microsoft Word .doc/.docx, Micrososft Excel .xls/.xlsx, Microsoft Powerpoint .ppt/.pptx), using the Google Docs embedded rendering engine.

This is a simple module that add ability to override the default #resizable property of textarea fields. By default, all textareas are resizable. This module allows you to disable this feature on each field.

USAGE:

A collection of fieldgroup formatters that allow basic logic to be performed on the internal fields.

Scald Slick integration

A small module which allows you to change the view mode of an entity.

This module provides a new field type "View mode selector", so just go to "Manage fields" and create a field of that type and choose between a "select list" and a "radio buttons" widget. When you choose "radio buttons" it is possible to upload an icon which will be displayed instead of the view mode name.

In order to display your referenced entities with the new "View mode selector" view mode don't forget to change the view mode on "Manage display" which is used for displaying them.

Better field descriptions makes it possible to add themeable descriptions to fields in forms.

• Would your customers like to write their own descriptions, but can't or won't, since they then need permission to manage the fields in the content type?
• Would you like to show the description above the field or even between the title and the field?

This module allows you to select the fields you want across all content types and give those field a themeable description on a separate admin page.

This module introduces the concept of "master fields" and "slave fields". The slave fields will automatically inherit the field instance settings of the master field.
