This module adds a field formatter to your field display settings, allows you to trim your text to a specific number of characters that you decide and then takes care of adding the ellipsis or dots if you like to the end of your trimmed text.
Also active on views displays on fields of type text, text_long, and text_with_summary.
This module leverages Drupal user roles to create different profiles for users.
It creates a multi-step user registration form in order to display fields associated with roles. A key aspect of this module that makes it different from other profile modules is that fields can be associated with multiple roles at a time. Field labels can be customized according to role.

Tooltip Field Formatter adds a formatter for text fields that displays an icon which triggers a tooltip, containing the field contents. It can be used to make additional information (eg. instructions, help or warnings) available to the end user in a way that does not use too much space on the screen.
Node Reference Set Trail Formatter is a simple module that adds a new formatter to the node reference field. This formatter does not display anything, but instead alters the active trail of a menu.
The formatter can be configured to act any any menu on the site. And will set the active trail of that menu to the node referenced in the node reference. Also the breadcrumbs can be alter so that the current pages breadcrumbs are an extension of the referenced node.
