Fields

Overview

This module extends the functionality provided by five modules coming with Content Construction Kit (CCK) for Drupal 6.x:

• Node Reference
• Number
• Option Widgets
• Text
• User Reference

and by the module Select (or other).

It acts when a CCK field of type

• Decimal
• Float
• Integer
• Node reference
• Text
• User Reference

with the widget

• Select list
• Select (or other) list

is added to a content type,

• and the Number of values is kept to 1 (one).

Such a field is a single-value select list.

CCK would natively display such a single-value select list as follows:

• If the field is required, the first selectable option is pre-selected. This would allow the end-user to successfully submit a form without actually selecting anything from a required select list, effectively making the "required" property obsolete.
• If the field is not required (optional), a non-value option "- None -" will be added on top.

CCK Single Select (this module) changes the first (default) option of each single-value select list as follows:

• If the field is required, a non-submittable customizable option will be added on top (defaults to "- Please select an option -"). This forces the end-user to actively select one of the provided options in order to successfully submit the form.
• If the field is not required, the non-value option on top will be made customizable (defaults to "- No selection -").

Storage API Populate provides a mechanism to move existing files into Storage API.

It works with both Storage API Stream Wrappers and Storage API's core_bridge submodule.

The Simple Exif/IPTC module allows you to pre configure Mappings between Exif/IPTC data and Fields on the image file entity from the latest File Entity module.

This modules uses the php-exif library for it's Exif/IPTC data.

This module provides a field type that renders a configurable number of checkboxes. When creating or editing an entity with this field attached, all checkboxes have to be checked in order to validate the form. This can be used for example for content types that represent a picture in order to make the user who uploads the picture assure, that he complies with the terms and policies of the website.

After searching around, I noticed there was no simple solution for a US based phone number formatter. There are a couple solutions (Phone and Phone Number) for US and International, using a separate formatter and field, but nothing I could see that I could use with a simple textfield.

Additional settings for "Long text with summary" widgets.

Currently implemented:

• Always visible: removes the ability to toggle the display of the summary component
• Required: makes the summary component mandatory

Hides N/A radio buttons and allows the user to double-click the selected radio button to unset the group.

The Vocabularies module defines a field that is able to store the vid of a Vocabulary, for use with the Field module.

Provides a check box next to each image on the image field form, which allows the image to be hidden.

Currently only works with the Drupal Image widget.
Support for other widgets utilising image fields is possible, but not yet implemented. See #2191737: Multiupload Imagefield Widget not compatible with Hide Image.

LDAP Entry Reference module provides field type and an autocomplete field widget that references an LDAP entry with it's distinguished name.
