File Management

Islandora is an open-source software framework designed to help institutions and organizations and their audiences collaboratively manage, and discover digital assets using a best-practices framework. Islandora was originally developed by the University of Prince Edward Island's Robertson Library, but is now implemented and contributed to by an ever-growing international community.

This module integrate Insert module with Multiupload ImageField Widget module.

Tested with Insert 7.x-1.2 and Multiupload Imagefield Widget 7.x-1.0.

This module aims to provide the ability to edit File entities inline, as part of another form (such as nodes). This should enable the ability for reusable and site-wide editing of file properties, such as description, alt text, captions, bylines, etc.

Dependencies:

File storage for personal user and group of users

Displays an image of the most used color in an image file.

populates fields of type image from a compressed file

Module allows attach images from image nodes on node tab

Webform Private File Gateway provides umbrella functionality for controlling access to private files through the use of a webform. Users are forced to fill out a webform before they are granted access to the private file they are requesting. Developers can optionally specify whether or not to send an email the the user with a link to the file download and/or enable cookies for remembering the user.

Fine Uploader

Allow you upload mass files at once. Integration with the library fine uploader Browser support (as say the developer) IE7+, Firefox, Safari (OS X), Chrome. It does not use Flash, jQuery or any external libraries (we need only the fine uploader library).

This module offers checks and validations for the process of uploading files. It extends the Drupal 7 core and helps avoid errors during file upload. You can now say good bye to PDOException: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '' for key 2: INSERT INTO {file_managed}.
