Filters/Editors

This module provides an input format filter that is the opposite of the Relative Path to Absolute URLs module.

Why would you want this? The most common use case is when working in multiple environments with different URLs, like dev/staging/production. When syncing your production database with a test server, absolute URLs will redirect you to the wrong site. Also, if you're changing domain names, this will help prevent incorrect URLs.

This module does nothing more than the title says, it adds a text format that converts your text to animated gifs with flaming letters.

Very retro, not very useful, not very performance-oriented. Be aware of the animated gifs, they are coming back to a web site near you.

On many web sites, especially if text entry for the users (posts, comments, articles, etc) is done using a WYSIWYG text editor, the various text formatting notes below text entry fields, provided by the input filters used on the site are superfluous for users. Mentioning HTML tags could be too technical for users without computing background, references to e-mail adresses and URLs turning into links might be unnecessary because this is the usual behavior, anyway.

This module provides an input filter for adding the onerror attribute on tags. This makes it possible to add links or messages to IE9 users that has not downloaded a correct codec for theora.

In other words: You don't have to remember to put it there yourself, even though you should (or if you already have a lot of nodes without the onerror attribute, like me, this can put it in there automatically).

This is an integration of the CKEditor MediaEmbed plugin (in 8.x this is in core, in 6.x & 7.x for the Wysiwyg module).

The Nodereference autocomplete nid trim module is a simple module that uses JavaScript to remove the [nid:X] text when you select an item in a Node Reference field.

For example, if you have My Node Title [nid:384] in the input, jquery_autocomplete changes it to just My Node Title.

Provides an input filter that can automatically wrap ™, ® and © symbols with superscript HTML tags (<sup>).

wysiwyg_clearfloats is a WYSIWYG plugin that enables 3 additional buttons on the TinyMCE editor. These buttons allow you to insert a breaking element that will clear floated elements above it. This is very handy when inserting pictures that you wish to be floated left, but then require your next paragraph to start 'below' the floated elements. Clearing the float enables you to do this.

The bulk of the work is done by a tinyMCE plugin component, which was written by Miguel Ibero as a plugin for wordpress. I have merely ported it from wordpress to drupal.
