Mail

This module adds a footer to the bottom of emails generated by Drupal's Contact module for site-wide contact forms. The footer provides additional information about the contact form submission: user agent, IP address, and HTTP referrer. These details may be helpful in providing additional context for contact form submissions describing problems or asking questions about site content.

Provides auto responder functionality on top of the Simplenews newsletter framework. Essentially, this module allows you to set up timed autoresponder campaigns that initiate when a user subscribes to your mailing list. Configure each Simplenews messages to send X days from the time the user subscribed.

Provides a way for administrators to define email transitions and configurable email subject / messages between those transitions. Email transitions can be defined as when content moves from state to state. Based on those email transitions, configurable emails can be created / updated / deleted as the site admin see's fit.

This module allows you to write user emails in rich text format (HTML) and the entire Drupal mail system will send emails in HTML (keep this in mind for other modules that send mails).

You also need Wysiwyg module (or similar), and an editor (I use TinyMCE) to see the format toolbar over the text fields.

Mail templates

Mail templates are the different available templates for the different type of newsletters. For example: a template for the monthly newsletter, and a template for a newsflash.

Amazon SES and several other hosting providers require that the "From" address of email sent from the host not be forged but the default Contact module sets "From" to be the form submitter's email address.

This module simply intercepts the site and user contact forms and modifies them to send email "From" the site's declared email address with the "Reply-To" header set to the contact form submitter, so form receivers get the usability benefit and do not need to manually create webforms in order to send email on these hosts.

A small module that integrates Drupal with Addemar.
