Google News API is a simple module to add a block to our Drupal site to display the Top 10 Google News headlines with title(hyperlinked), short description & image.
1. configure the API key and version (at "admin/config/services/google_news_api").
2. After that you can put the block to any region on your page (using "admin/structure/block").
This module calculates the dominant color of the image. The setup when using this module is as follows:
- There will be a vocabulary holding colors that you need to predefine.
- there will be at least one content type holding an image field and a reference to the color taxonomy.
INSTALL:
- Install https://www.drupal.org/project/registry_autoload module.
- Install this module as usual.

This module is developed for giving permission to view private files which is attached to any unpublished version of node. Permission can be given to any or all user role groups.
This is a simple module that allows admins to upload an image for a field group. You can upload an image for a field group on the Manage Fields or Manage Display tabs of any fieldable entity.
Other settings include image style (thumbnail, etc) and display position (above, below, left, right) for the uploaded image.

A simple podcast RSS creator.
This module requires a custom content type that can fulfill the field requirements (minimally things like "title", "description", and "enclosure file"). It works for my needs, but it probably has other unforeseen limitations!
