Multilingual

Entity XLIFF FTP is a Drupal extension that introduces a localization workflow whereby editors or administrators can push XLIFF files to a remote server via SFTP, then pull down processed XLIFF files when they're ready (either manually, or automatically on cron).

This extension was designed specifically to work with SDL WorldServer, but can theoretically be used with any FTP server or FTP-enabled translation management system.

This project is intended to provide classes for use with the migrate module, to help with migration of internationalized Drupal core content.

It's at early stage of developement but not useless. Currently it only allows for migration of terms from vocabularies in "translate" mode between D7 websites. Contributions are welcome.

Provides a new cTools content type for: Translatable custom content.

Behaves like the default (non-reusable) custom content type, except there's a configuration per language.

UUID support for i18n_taxonomy. With this module term-UUID is used instead of TID for translations.

This module provides you with a token to access your translation source's alias. Such information can be used in Pathauto patterns or however else you may find a usage for it.

*** Advice ***

Multilang is deprecated in favor of its pretty improved successor, MMS, which can simply replace Multilang without loosing anything of the already translated content.

MMS is based on the same strategy and benefits of the same advantages plus the following:

• it covers any kind of content (nodes, blocks, menus, taxonomy, content types, field labels...) without the need of additional modules
• the user gets totally rid of the "multi" syntax, thanks to a new integrated widget

*** Issue with Firefox 39 ***

A known bug makes the Multilang CKEditor plugin to fail with Firefox 39. Don't worry: this bug is fixed in Firefox 40, officially announced to be released August 11, 2015 as of Firefox 39.0.3.

Description
