If you are using this module already, fear not. It can be safely uninstalled and i18n Auto Translate can be installed in its place. There are no side-effects and at the moment the code of the two modules is *identical*, so do it now while i18n Auto Translate is still at 6.x-2.0:

Although the free Google Translate API v1 was discontinued, Google Translate API v2 is a for-pay API, costing $20/MB. The D6 6.x-1.2 (and higher) and 7.x-1.2 (and higher) versions of this module now support the API v2, so please try it.

This module uses the Google Translate API v2 and the jquery-translate plugin to offer to translate any region in your content that can be specified with a CSS selector.

Overview

The Featured Content module lets you very easily create related/featured content blocks on your Drupal site. This module is useful if you have non-technical users who need to add blocks on the site that contain lists of node titles, node teasers, and/or full node content. This module can also be useful if you need to get up some featured/related content blocks quickly and are not familiar enough with views to do it, or simply prefer not to use views for this purpose.

The plural formula configurator sets sensible defaults for plural forms when adding languages and lets you edit the plural formula for all languages on the web interface.

Drupal does not expose these fields for editing due to the complexity of plural forms. You should make sure to only give permissions to edit language details to those, who will likely not screw up your plural formulas.

About

The goal of this project is to cleanly extend Apache Solr Search to provide:

• better support for non-English languages
• support for multilingual search
• cross-language information retrieval (CLIR)
• an easy-to-use administration interface

Apache Solr Multilingual does not replace Apache Solr Search but is based on it.

Allows (fieldable) entities to be translated into different languages, by introducing entity/field translation for the new translatable fields capability in Drupal 7. Maintained by the Drupal core i18n team.

This project does not replace the Internationalization project, which focuses on enabling a full multilingual workflow for site admins/builders. Some features, e.g. content language negotiation or taxonomy translation, might overlap but most of them are unrelated.

Project Description

Language Switcher Dropdown is a very simple module that exposes a new block, similar to the default Language Switcher block provided by Locale module.

The new block allows site visitors to switch languages using a drop-down select list instead of using hyperlinks.

The module also integrates well with Language Icons module if installed.
