Disable user 1 edit module makes it so that that all operations on user 1 is disabled.

Why?

Well, if a role has the permission "administer users", this by default includes user 1. If they can edit user 1, then they can also edit their email and password. If they can edit their email and password, then they can take over the account, and therefore they can also gain additional privileges than their current role.

If you want to enable users to administer users without risking them editing user 1, then you need this module.

User data synchronization from Drupal Systems to LDAP Server.

This module can synchronize Drupal user data to LDAP Server on a very special way. It's based on LDAPcontrol to use it's flexibility especially to allow different passwords for the synchronized User Data in LDAP to increase security when other Systems should authenticate against the LDAP server which is controlled by this Module.

Simple end point for load balancers(or Pingdom, new relic..) to check the health of your Drupal site.

The module provides /health endpoint which is never cached and returns only timestamp as a body with HTTP status code 200. If Drupal fails to bootstrap, it returns an error code instead and your load balancer knows there is something wrong with the particular instance and can drop it from load balancing.

As the name suggests this module provides functionality for sending an email or sms to the user attempting to login for additional security.

On login form user has to provide his/her username and password, on success an email/sms containing a randomly generated one time code is sent to his email id/mobile and on the next form user will provide the OTP to complete the login process.

Spambots become smarter and smarter, so usual ways like javascript base protection might not be enough to fight against email mining robots.

This module protects your email fields with captcha. It provides a field formatter that shows a simple View email address link instead of pure email address. When clicking on it, a modal dialog box shows up with a captcha protected form. The successful form submission reveals the email address within the modal.

File System Switch enables you to switch file fields between private and public.

Maintaining the security of your files can be really good in Drupal, however, sometimes you may wish to move between public to private for a file field (or a bunch of file field). This module manages that process, including moving the files and updating the file references.
