Theme Enhancements

Themepacket module helps Themers and Developers create and override theme implementations quickly and naturally by eliminating the need to manually register theme hooks in your modules and themes. This module will also discover any assets found with your theme implementations (css, js) and drupal_add_* on your behalf.

By default, the Drupal menu system only allows you to add menu items that are links. With this module, you can add menu items that are simply containers, and not links.

These containers are just standard menu items, so they work with any module or theme that works with core's menu module. But these containers have these special traits:

1. Containers have no URL path associated with them. So they are not links, just regular text.
2. Containers are menu items that are always expanded. Since you can’t go to the container’s “page”, the only way to see its children links are for the container to be always expanded.
3. The HTML wrapper around the container’s title is controlled with theme_menu_item_container(). See the README.txt for more info.

The CCK Word/Character Count module allows an administrator to define a word or character count for a CCK field. When the content creator is adding content in that field, it will display a current count of the number or words/characters and how many are left. Once it reaches the limit, the color changes and the user is no longer able to submit the form until the number or words/characters are reduced to the limit.

A UI tweak to hide certain features or the form interface from normal use, but still have them available on the page for validation and quick access.

This slims down the UI to make things seem simpler, without overloading the maintenance tasks with layers of permissions, or removing any control from the user.

USAGE

When enabled, any configured form can have elements hidden (by css) for normal use, and a small client-side button [Advanced] can be pressed to reveal the rest of the form as needed.

When the Color module is enabled, the Color Theme module changes the current theme on the theme settings pages to the theme whose settings are being configured. For example, visiting admin/appearance/settings/stark will cause the Stark theme to become the theme, and visiting admin/appearance/settings/garland will cause Garland to become the current theme. It also excludes the theme settings pages from being displayed in the Overlay.

Code per Node makes it possible to add custom CSS and Javascript per node, per content type, per block, and globally. The code is stored in the database, but served from the file system. It also supports syntax highlighting with CodeMirror.

On 404 Not Found error pages, Drupal will skip rendering of all the navigation links of your website for performance reasons*. Some of these include:

1. The "Primary links" block and any other menu links block.
2. The Primary links and Secondary links of your theme.

* Unless you have configured a "Default 404 (not found) page" on admin/config/system/site-information.

But many websites find navigation invaluable. Especially on 404 pages, when they want to show lost users how to get to real pages.

So this module simply revives those features on 404 pages. Simply install and enable the module. No configuration needed.

"In computing, a shebang (also called a hashbang, hashpling, pound bang, or crunchbang) is the character sequence consisting of the characters number sign and exclamation point (#!), when it occurs as the first two characters in the first line of a text file. In this case, the program loader in Unix-like operating systems parses the rest of the first line as an interpreter directive and invokes the program specified after the character sequence with any command line options specified as parameters.

The Nice messages popup module changes how Drupals status, warning and error messages are showing up by giving flexible stylable nice looking fading little jQuery-popups like on Social networks at hand, provided by the small and fast jQuery jGrowl plugin. It can be activated globally or partially for certain pages / users and prevents the typical cluttering caused by error messages getting in the way by moving the grid and layout of a website up and down.

The jQuery jGrowl plugin beats all its competitors because it supports all browsers including older Browsers like IE6 and loads with a very small size of less than 6kb.

This module provides the content of the site information variables in blocks, so users are not limited by their theme in their placement, but can display them in any block region.

A css file is included, which can be used to tweak the display.
