Closed domain

This module unobtrusively adds additional checkboxes to the permissions form located at admin/user/permissions - the additional checkboxes provide a much friendlier interface for dealing with the hundreds of checkboxes that accumulate on the permissions page as roles and modules are added to a Drupal installation.
On a test Drupal site I set up with 6 user roles, 105 core and add-on modules enabled, 9 content types, and the content permissions module enabled, there were 138 distinct permissions and 828 individual checkboxes on the permissions page. To initially set up the permissions to something sane, it took me about 17 minutes. On my first attempt of using this module after fully developing it, after wiping and restoring the database from a back up, it took me around 5 minutes to set up the same permissions. The point is that this module will save you time, especially on large sites.

This module helps to control user profile access and user editing in a hierarchical manner. A user having a particular role can edit users having roles under the hierarchy tree, whether its a direct child role or a grand child role. The user should have administer users permission.
If the user being edited has multiple roles, the user doing the editing must have permission to edit any of the user being edited's roles. The module also provides a role-based control over user creation. The default user listing (http://example.com/admin/user/user) gets filtered automatically to those users under the role tree.

Spambot protects the user registration form from spammers and spambots by verifying registration attempts against the Stop Forum Spam (www.stopforumspam.com) online database. It also adds some useful features to help deal with spam accounts.
This module works well for sites which require user registration before posting is allowed (which is most forums).
