This is a simple migration using Migrate module to bring in the users from an external database defined by the settings form provided by Commerce Migrate Ubercart, a part of Commerce Migrate.
This module adds a feature to the Drupal content view, admin/content/node, by allowing multiple selected nodes to get the same parent menu. By the same action as you can delete multiple nodes you can via a dropdown box select a parent menu for all selected nodes.

Are you using a workflow or editorial panel (e.g. Workbench module) to manage your content? perhaps you faced a problem where a draft (unpublished content) got reviewed and then published, but the RSS feed & fron-page time-ordered view will display it at the bottom. This is because Drupal uses `created` date to sort nodes in listing pages (frontpage, taxonomy) and RSS too. Publish Date will replace the `created` date with `published` date in case you make a draft -> published transition.
