Drupal has perfect status/error message collect process, but only have a basic UI. This tiny module will improve user experience when they try to using drupal.

Allows users to select one or multiple roles during registration. This module differs slightly from other similar offerings as the user is also optionally allowed to change their role selection(s) when editing their account settings.

In general, BornFree functions as an image gallery with node-text on splash page.
So far, although there are many good image galleries out there, few of them does a good job of displaying a large block of text, which
associates with the image. Therefore, BornFree was engineered as an image gallery that does text rendering (not only just caption, or
title). The second motivation is that since there are a lot of nodes with attached images. Why not display them in a nice way on the front

This module is no longer maintained. You can simply use rules to remove a role from a user, so she won't be able to post new content

Create quota module creates quota rules and holds information about every user's creation count.
A possible use case for this module is a site that allows users to register for free and to create a certain amount of content until they are asked to pay for the service.

Module is pluggable and allows other modules to implement their own quota rules.

Dependencies:

Allows users to create specific flash slideshows (doesn't use taxonomy, or galleries). A user creates a slideshow, then creates individual slides for each slideshow.

NOTE: This is a dev version of this module. Work needs to be done to integrate it with existing modules like swftools.
Also, Work on this module has been suspended in favor of Views Slideshow.

A bundle of modules to access the zanox Web Services API.

This module will add Transcriptions (or Closed Captioning) to video and audio files. It will also integrate with Media Player, YouTube API, Asset, and Embedded Media Field.

Ultimately slated for a Drupal 7 release (because of required hook_file and hopefully streaming packaging). However, there will be an initial Drupal 6 release with limited functionality.
