This module provides a way to aggregate content provided by Telvent / DTN into Drupal websites. The module will take the access credentials provided by Telvent / DTN and use them to pull content from their API. The content from these API feeds is then stored as nodes within Drupal.

Currently, only the news feed is supported, however, the Weather API is on the horizon.
The news feed and the weather API are now supported in the beta1 release! Coming soon, DTN stock futures.

The 7.x-1.0-beta1 release works with DTN News, DTN Weather and DTN Futures.

Overview

This module displays current weather conditions, as a block, from any weather station that reports to aprs.fi. This means that you can select an unlimited amount of weather machines from precise locations (street level) and display their data in a block.

This module switches the theme according to the current language. Themes MUST be enabled to be selected for an active language.

What is elephant.io?

Elephant.io provides a socket.io client fully written in PHP that should be usable everywhere in your project.
It is a light and easy to use library that aims to bring some real-time functionality to a PHP application through socket.io and websockets.

For elephant.io magic to operate, the following dependencies must be fulfilled:

Usage

The module can be used with drush in two ways:

Use the PHP Faker library to generate more meaningful sample content.

Devel Generate is great for creating a lot of sample content in a hurry, but sometimes you want samples that are more meaningful, or closer to the content you expect users to generate. This is where Faker comes in.
