Improves the administration interface.

This module intends to improve the Drupal administration interface by adding more administration features directly on frontend pages.

Updates !

As frontend block editing has been included in Drupal core 8.2 this module has now not as much improvements as before, so we recommend to use the Drupal core's feature.

Synopsis

For now, this module improves block management by adding a new toolbar in the administration menu available in frontend pages.

Available features :

The drupal core filter "Convert URLs into links" (filter_url) is converting strings with "@" into email addresses even if there is no domain suffix present. (eg: working@home). While those strings contain valid domain name (home is a fully valid domain name by standard) with the current usage of "@" character this might not be the desired effect. (this is the topic of the ticket 2016739 )

On certain high-security environments, it is often required to block admin access to all but a white list of IPs. Typically this is done at the Apache level with two servers, one that blocks access to admin urls and another that doesn't. Then the admin server access is locked down as required.

A simple API module for retrieving search results from the WorldCat Open Search API.

You will need to request an API key from OCLC before you will be able to execute searches.

This module doesn't do anything exciting on its own; it's designed to provide helper functions to other modules or for your own custom code.

The Frontpage Layout Manager module helps you to dynamically alter and modify your frontpage layout with smooth drag and drop. The layout can be configured to read in nodes from any views existing in the system and it helps format the fields and images into rows and columns to create layouts as desired. Two different layouts can be created for desktop and mobile. Blocks existing in the system can be dragged and dropped into any position in the layout.

This simple module will add <meta http-equiv="X-Clacks-Overhead" content="GNU Terry Pratchett" /> to head section of your theme.

/r/discworld redditors with web servers start putting "GNU Terry Pratchett" overhead into their HTML headers out of respect, something discworld characters do for dead 'clacks' operators. More info here: http://www.reddit.com/r/discworld/comments/2yt9j6/gnu_terry_pratchett/
