This module is based on the Unwelcome module but uses an alternative approach to achieve the goal.
The only feature of the module is to hide the Welcome page when there is no nodes promoted to frontpage or when they are private, so no node could be listed on the frontpage or at /node path. In that case Drupal will display "Welcome to your new Drupal website!", which is not nice...
jQuery News Ticker is a very lightweight, jQuery plugin drupal module which displays news ticker, inspired from the BBC news ticker.
There are prev-next and play-pause controls for quickly navigating through the items.
After you activated the module (at "admin/modules"), you can put the block to any region on your page (using "admin/structure/block").
The Counter API module provides a generic infrastructure for the creation of event counters that can be incremented, managed and displayed as needed by other modules. Use cases for this module include "action" counters which can display the number of users who have participated in a given site action and donation progress bars that show "amount to goal".

This module provides the functionality to replace the main node overview page with overview pages for each content-type to better distinguish types of content to the administrators.
Overview
Speed form blocks allows a site user to create a small HTML form and place that within a block. The block can then be placed within the theme as the site user wishes it to be, Feedback received from the block is stored in the system and can be exported as CSV or checked and managed via the module's admin pages.
